ZOBOP! 2006 by Jim Lambie, vinyl tape installation at MoMA, New YorkGo see the shows at MoMA Went to see the Color Chart show at MoMA today. Interesting show including wide variety of media with works by heavy hitters like Dan Flavin, On Kawara, Damien Hirst, Sol LeWitt, Ellsworth Kelly, etc., etc. They also have a wild show called Design and the Elastic Mind concerning the intersection of technology and design that feels like it belongs in a science museum. The show is chock full of great work, much if it from research labs around the country. My only quip is that the layout is awkward and doesn’t allow for a large crowd to flow easily through it so head over on a Wednesday at lunch. Both shows through March 12. See my Flickr stream for more images.
