The Associated Press is going after Shepard Fairey claiming he is infringing on their copyright for basing his iconic HOPE poster on a photo taken by one of their photographers. Fairey claims fair use. The photographer claims he was working for the AP temporarily and didn’t sign away his copyright to them. This one could be interesting.
